Was considerin going kitesurfing but thought it might be a bit windy for my 12m kite. Decided to go windsurfin instead.
Rigged up my 5.7 and goit out there on my 80 litre board. Was a good session but was never totally comfortable with the setup. Think my mastrack was set too far back. The sail was also a bit to big for the board and I've definately lost my technique which I had in New Zealand last year. 5.7's the biggest sail I can use for this board. Woulda been perfect if I had a 100 litre board so gonna have to invest in one soon as it's for sure be my most used board. Phil, Jeff and Chris all turned up with chris's wife takin some pics. Not a bad session though. A bit more wind and a smaller sail woulda been perfect.
